In order to accommodate the needs of Palace community we have created four individual packages - each specifically tailored to provide top-notch service to Palaces of all sizes.

Service Description

Each Palace is entitled to a sub-domain at any of our offered domains (see order page for domain offerings).  An example of a sub-domain address would be "joespalace.sharpsphere.com." 

Each of our Palace packages include webspace and a number of e-mail accounts at any domain of your choice.   You can also request e-mail accounts at your sub-domain, such as joe@joespalace.sharpsphere.com.  

Additional or limited access FTP accounts are available per request for all service levels. This allows you to create accounts limited to specific tasks (e.g. Palace media, Web site management, Log viewing, etc.)

All service levels are accompanied by our Sharp Control™ web panel for easy administration and maintenance of your Palace server.  Sharp Control™ enables you to administer your Palace server from any normal browser whether you're at home or on the go.  FTP access is also provided allowing bulk file transfers such as mass amounts of Palace or web media.

Each Palace automatically creates a backup of its data [room] files and rotates its log files on a daily basis.  In the case of data loss the owner of the account (or an authorized individual) may simply restore their Palace from a previous days backup through the Sharp Control™ web panel. 

All packages are housed on our servers which are serviced by an OC-3 level connection. This provides our users with a lag-free and reliable Palace environment while keeping downtime to a minimum.  Since our network migration to our OC-3 line we have had no unscheduled downtime and have maintained excellent latency to major backbones.  Sharp Sphere is one of very few companies providing Palace hosting services on such high-bandwidth connections capable of serving the masses without sacrificing low latency.
